Jane Cockburn, a team member of the Centre for Health Leadership, is the founder of Kairos Now.
Kairos Now are organising an event as part of Sydney Vivid Ideas.

This event is an exciting opportunity to discuss critical issues concerning the health sector outside of the normal contexts and environments – it’s sure to bring some fresh perspectives and ideas.

If you are interested or involved in our health system – as a patient, family member, service provider, policy maker or entrepreneur – then join Kairos Now as we Dare to Design the future of chronic care and shape how patients can be cared for in their homes.
With key public health policies and implementation plans forging ahead now, Australia is well positioned to understand what changes are possible. The question is how a new system will be developed and delivered.

This one-day workshop puts the needs of patients and carers at the centre of the discussion and focuses on three key areas: chronic health, mental health and cancer. By collaborating and using Kairos Now’s Design Thinking framework, it is possible to understand our different perspectives and discover what is really needed to make Australia’s new frontiers of integrated public health ‘work’.
